The Westbourne Rural ENterprise brings a rural atmosphere to your business, providing offices and workshops at affordable prices in converted farm buildings. Situated in North Emsworth next to the Village of Westbourne, with Havant and Portsmouth to the West and Chichester to the East. Good rail links at Emsworth, Southbourne, Warblington and Havant.
The Wren Centre was established in 1990 at Hampshire Farm - the result of a downturn in the farming industry, coupled with a crippling nationwide recession. The future of Hampshire Farm looked bleak.
But the recession had created an army of people who had lost their jobs and were looking to start up their own small businesses. Hampshire Farm had the space available – could we diversify from agriculture, cows and chickens to small business units??? We certainly had the space and buildings available and very quickly gained the experience. That was 25 years ago.
The Wren Centre is now firmly established in the community and expanding to suit your requirements. We currently house over 40 very diverse businesses, bringing together in one area a wealth of services and expertise.
Hallmarq Veterinary Imaging Ltd has received two of the UK’s most prestigious awards for outstanding and sustained business achievement. Hallmarq is one of only two companies this year to be awarded two accolades with the Queen’s Award for Enterprise – in international trade and innovation.
In October 2020 the Wren Centre will have been established for 29 years. During this time we have seen Hampshire Farm grow from a diary herd and poultry units to an established Business Centre with 44 very mixed units, housing a variety of different Businesses.
